Align it DS3 is one of the easiest to use & most effective alignment tools available. It allows for clear visibility and simple alignment of your phono cartridge- no matter the cartridge alignment geometry you choose. Align it DS3 illustrates the various tonearm arcs from outer to inner null-points. This is helpful for beginners and professionals alike as it makes alignment a more visual process to understand & implement. The DS3 eliminates the need to repeatedly rotate your turntable‘s platter when toggling between null-points. It remains in a fixed position and you need not concern yourself with getting the perfect position each time; this is the advantage to showing the tonearm arcs atop the protractor itself.

The 3 Most Widely Accepted Geometries

  • Baerwald: an excellent all-arounder that many listeners use as a starting point
  • Löfgren B: optimizes tracking in the middle area of your vinyl LP resulting in the lowest average distortion
  • Stevenson: optimizes tracking at the beginning & end of the record side (often used by collectors of 7″ 45rpm records)
