Head Box DS2 B will drive the most demanding headphones with ease via its robust output (e.g., 550mW per channel into 33ohms). Three current settings are offered for optimal headphone matching as well as four gain settings for high-impedance headphones & sensitive in-ear monitors. The fully balanced dual-mono design is finished with a phase inverter to convert any unbalanced signal to a balanced one at the input. A balanced 4-pin XLR output on the front panel guarantees perfect signal transmission to your headphones. In addition, the highly acclaimed Texas Instruments TPA6120A2 chip has been implemented for improved power handling, which results in superior sonics and a near-silent noise floor. Both the XLR & 1/4″ headphone outputs can be used simultaneously for shared listening experiences.
